The Department of General Services (DGS) announced today that Tanya Little, assistant chief with the DGS Office of Small Business and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Services, has been honored with a Small Business Advocate Award from the Greater Los Angeles African American Chamber of Commerce (GLAAACC).

This award is given to the individual, organization, or company that has demonstrated the highest level of responsiveness in advocating for the small business enterprise.

Through its Procurement Division, DGS constantly strives to reach out to and certify California’s small and disabled veteran businesses, and to teach them how to learn about, compete for, and win state business.
