DGS is holding its quarterly State Surplus Property Auction featuring hundreds of items as part of a holiday blowout.

From fine jewelry, office furniture to bicycles– there’s something for everyone.

The DGS Office of Fleet and Asset Management will conduct the auction on Saturday, Dec. 5, at the surplus warehouse at 1700 National Dr. in Sacramento. The preview event will take place Friday, Dec. 4.

Items include office furniture, computers and cell phones from state agencies, property seized by the California Highway Patrol and those confiscated by the National Transportation Security Administration.

The auction brings in hundreds of thousands of dollars back to the state every year.

Auction and auction preview details include:

  • Auction Preview Day, Friday, Dec. 4, 8 a.m. to 3:30 pm.
  • Auction Day, Saturday, Dec. 5. Pre-auction preview 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Auction begins promptly at 10 a.m.
