The DGS Office of State Publishing has been working around-the-clock to print 13 million 2016 California voter information guides for the November election.

The state publishing plant in Sacramento is buzzing with activity as DGS employees print, bind and box the guides that are making their way to mailboxes throughout California.

A few fast facts about the project for the California Secretary of State:

  • At 224 pages, this is one of the largest California voter information guides ever.
  • The job will use approximately 12 million pounds (250 truckloads) of recycled-content newsprint.
  • Work began mid-August and will finish first week of October.
