The California Department of General Services (DGS) is holding its quarterly state surplus property auction to wrap up the end of the year. From bicycles, automotive equipment to designer watches – there’s something for everyone.
The DGS Office of Fleet and Asset Management will conduct the auction on Saturday, Dec. 3, at the surplus warehouse at 1700 National Dr. in Sacramento.
Items include computers and office furniture from state agencies, property seized by the California Highway Patrol and those confiscated by the National Transportation Security Administration.
The auction brings in hundreds of thousands of dollars back to the state every year.
Auction and auction preview details include:
• The public can preview items Friday, Dec. 2 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Auction Day, Saturday, Dec. 3. Pre-auction preview 8 to 9:45 a.m. Auction begins promptly at 10 a.m.
