DGS teamed up with the Brown Administration and Legislative leaders for the second annual Sacramento AltCar Ride & Drive at the State Capitol.

Several vehicles were available for test drives, including electric, hybrid electric, hydrogen vehicles, and a first regional look at the 2018 Honda Clarity EV.

DGS staff showcased the latest green cars available on state contract for state and local agencies.

Government Operations Agency Secretary Marybel Batjer and California Senate President pro Tempore Kevin de Leon were on hand to celebrate the success of California’s zero emission vehicle policies.

The event highlights the governor’s commitment to ensuring state government is leading by example to reduce emissions and combat climate change.
